Evaluates patients' interests, qualifications, and limitations to develop appropriate employment objectives for them. Being a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor requires a bachelor's/master's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Grant & Associates seeks Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors (VRC) for our Lynnwood office. Our staff support injured workers and other individuals with disabilities in their efforts to return to the labor market. We do so by providing skilled rehabilitation services that include individualized services, interviews, on-site evaluations, coordination of stakeholders, support to employers and insurance providers, future planning, skills, and aptitude testing, and analysis/documentation.
REQUIRED: BACHELOR'S DEGREE, excellent communication and writing skills, transportation, and an ability to travel, and demonstrated the ability to work independently. Certified Disability Management Specialist or Certified Rehabilitation Counselor credential OR the ability to obtain one within 2 years required. Master's degree preferred.
