Visual Merchandiser is responsible for constructing, setting up, maintaining, and disassembling signs, banners, mannequins, and other visual displays of retail goods. Creates effective displays and shopping experience to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction. Being a Visual Merchandiser ensures a visually compelling store, clearly communicating information about products, sales, clearance, or special events. Uses tools and props to construct displays. Additionally, Visual Merchandiser may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Visual Merchandiser occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. We are looking for merchandisers to service the American Greetings Department in retail locations.
- The starting pay is $11.70 per hour with two increases during the first year of employment (the listed rates are subject to change based on work location).
- After 6 months of employment the pay rate will increase to $12.40.
- After 1 year of continued employment the pay rate will increase to $13.00.
- We offer flexible work scheduling.
- We provide paid training.
- This route will service the following retail locations : Walmart, 901 Us Highway 60 E, Morganfield, KY, 42437; Dollar General, 217 N Morgan St;
- Dollar General, 331 Us Highway 41 S, Henderson, KY; Dollar General, 402 Marywood Dr, Henderson, KY; Dollar General, 1680 S Green St, Henderson, KY;
Dollar General, 528 N Green St, Henderson, KY; Dollar General, 9728 Us Highway 60 E, Spottsville, KY; Dollar General, 5829 State Route 130 N, Uniontown, KY and Dollar General, 207 Main St, Corydon, KY.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Merchandise and maintain all product displays within the greeting card department as well as other areas of the store as needed.
- Work in a fast paced retail environment utilizing your effective time management skills.
- Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime retail business hours.
- Use a company provided tablet to perform basic job functions, such as reviewing weekly service and tasks, inventory functions, time entry, etc.
