POSITION TITLE: IACUC (Institutional Animal Care And Use Committee) Research Specialist II/Protocol Analyst
POSITION SUMMARY:
We have an exciting opportunity for an IACUC Research Specialist II as a member of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Program team of professionals. This position will support Scripps’ commitment to maintaining compliance with various federal regulations regarding animal research and teaching activities. Will provide support and direction to the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). Seen as one of the recognized institutional experts on regulatory requirements regarding animal care and use and is expected to provide advice and guidance regarding regulatory and policy requirements for the Institute’s animal care and use Program. This is a great position for someone to grow within a dynamic team while providing high-level administrative, technical and project support. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

COMPENSATION:
The expected hiring range for this position is $85,000 to $102,000/annually, commensurate with experience. Consideration will be given to experience that exceeds the listed requirements.
