Visitor Research Analyst - Museum evaluates and researches visitor experiences, learning, exhibition, program etc. Utilizes findings to inform appropriate exhibit and improve museum program development. Prepares visitors reports and technical papers to suggest enhanced innovative learning environments for museum. Being a Visitor Research Analyst - Museum requires a master's degree of social science or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or a manager. The Visitor Research Analyst - Museum gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Summary: The Museum Educator assists with presenting science-based educational programs and aids with gallery interpretation, tours, outreaches, virtual programs, scout programs, camps, special events, interactive labs, scout & community overnights, and more.

Schedule: This position is a part-time position of no more than 20 hours per week. The schedule will vary to accommodate departmental staffing needs and will be determined in collaboration with the Director of Public Engagement. Some evenings and weekends are required.
