Whirks of Memphis, TN is seeking a full-time Videographer to join our amazing team! Do you have a passion for creating, crafting, and editing video? If you love storytelling and are passionate about connecting small businesses, we need to talk!

As the Videographer, you will produce video content for Whirks that aligns with our brand, mission, values, and goals. As our visual storyteller, you'll be responsible for storyboarding, shooting footage, editing, managing creative assets, and maintaining all video equipment. You will work closely with our sales & marketing team. You must be empathetic toward the pain points of clients and prospects alike! The ultimate goal of your efforts is to increase client retention, drive engagement, generate qualified leads, and improve website traffic.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

All required equipment is provided by Whirks. Depending on experience, you will receive an attractive salary of $45,000-$60,000. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2 years of experience with video production in a professional environment is required.
• A portfolio or Vimeo/YouTube channel with multiple professional videos is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Film, Graphic Design, Photography, Journalism, or Communications is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience working in a sales & marketing team.
• Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro).
• Passion for helping small businesses succeed!
• Upbeat, confident, and friendly personality.
• Deep understanding of how to create content that draws an audience on major marketing channels.
• Lifelong learner! Able to identify new learning opportunities and the latest technologies.
• Project management skills to manage editorial schedules and deadlines.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Own the entire video production process! Shoot, edit, and upload all photos, videos, webinars, podcasts, and client testimonials.
• Work closely with the Content Manager to execute projects from concept through completion. Develop concepts for photo, video, and motion graphic projects that strengthen the brand, drive demand, and support marketing strategies.
• Operate and maintain proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment.
• Oversee all technical tasks related to the entire production process. (These duties include the transport, setup, operation of equipment, staging, and set preparation.)
• Continuously upkeep and store all footage media. Keep copies of backups for future use and references. Assist in maintaining the video hosting platform and understanding best practices.
• Assist with social media for community engagement and long-term content promotion.
• Know the value of every person on our team and empower them to tell their stories to our audience.

We service our clients from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. every business day. Our team reports daily to our Memphis, TN office. We make numbers feel less daunting and we have a darn good time doing it! We are a business casual office environment. (Yes, you can wear jeans. No, you can't wear a tie.)
