Job Summary:
Rhode Island area videographer needed for monthly video shooting and editing for Discover Rhode Island & other automotive clientele. Must have your own equipment (2 cameras, remote microphones and portable lighting) and reliable transportation. Would probably be 20-30 hours per month for now, but could increase in time if you want more work.
Duties:
- Capture and edit video footage to create compelling visual stories with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with the creative team to execute projects on schedule
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, editing and file sharing tools like Vimeo, DropBox, etc.
- Ensure videos are produced in a timely manner while maintaining high quality standards
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Assist with other production tasks such as photography or image retouching as needed.
Experience:
- Proven experience in video production and editing
- Experience keeping clients on track while recording.
- Strong understanding of video editing techniques, color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to capture and organize audio and visual content for high quality finished product.
Most of our agency clients are in the Rhode Island market or bordering Southeastern Massachusetts. You would travel to business sites to record. Recordings or edited/completed products would be delivered to production coordinator via secure upload or cloud sharing.
