Position Title: Videographer
Reports to: Manager
Summary of Position: The Videographer is responsible for designing and creating video material to be used in-house and for training purpose. In addition, the videographer will be shooting and editing videos for Marketing, Team member events, and Team Member media.

- Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following and are subject to change at management’s discretion:
- Receives work assignments from Manager based on current job work order requests and departmental projects.
- Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and resort casino policies and procedures, and to casino Internal Control Structure.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Obtains and maintains a gaming license.
- Must be able to work alone and in group a setting. Must participate in brainstorming sessions and solo projects when asked.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials and instructions provided on the work requests.
- Plans concept by studying information and materials.
- Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of the art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
- Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval process.
- Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; submitting camera ready art or completed files to vendors.
- Composes shot lists and storyboards as needed.
- Has the ability to light scenes, shoot video, edit, and produce a final project.
- Prioritize multiple tasks and switch between tasks to meet deadlines.
- Able to take and give direction.
- Able to manage and communicate project status with related department heads and team.
- Able to work flexible hours as needed or required.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements: following manufactures’ instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories and evaluation new equipment.
- Completes projects by coordinating with different departments, outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

- Education and /or Experience Requirements:
Associate degree (A.A.) in Graphic design from a college or university or five plus years proven quality graphics design video graphics experience may be substituted.
- Must possess outstanding verbal and written communications skills, have a positive, dynamic and outgoing personality and have a pleasant and professional speaking voice. Must possess extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Adobe S6 Illustrator, Photoshop & IN Design ( page maker, quark, or other layout program), graphic design skills, layout skills, creative Services, customer focus, creativity, flexibility, attention to detail, deadline-oriented, desktop publishing tools, ability to collaborate, acute vision, handles rejection and constructive criticism. Video editing programs; Adobe after effects, adobe premiere is a plus. Must have MAC products proficiency-photo & video editing experience.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment, printers, fax, and finishing equipment. Experience with print workstations, Fiery, and Creo plus is preferred.
- Mescalero Apache Tribal preference: bicultural experience preferred.
