Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients. This position requires expertise in various areas of veterinary medicine, including equine, dog training, kennel operations, aseptic technique, animal restraint, dog handling, veterinary critical care, pet grooming, laboratory procedures, and animal handling.

Duties:
- Assist veterinarians in examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Perform laboratory tests and analyze results
- Take and develop X-rays
- Prepare animals for surgery and monitor anesthesia during procedures
- Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery
- Clean and maintain equipment and surgical instruments
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of equine and small animal medicine
- Proficiency in dog training techniques
- Experience in kennel operations and pet grooming
- Familiarity with aseptic technique in a veterinary setting
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively
- Knowledge of veterinary critical care procedures
- Proficiency in laboratory procedures and sample analysis
- Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members
