Administers injections, performs venipunctures, applies wound dressings, cleans teeth, and takes vital signs of animal. Being a Veterinary Assistant requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to be certified/licensed. Additionally, Veterinary Assistant is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. The Animal Clinic of Hammonton is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team! Our hospital is a small animal, full-service general practice hospital in Hammonton New Jersey. We see wellness as well as sick appointments, and we are able to run most diagnostics in house.
This position would be primarily checking in and checking out patients and clients, answering phones, making appointments, screening/responding to emails, handling online prescriptions requests, and communicating with clients.
Our ideal candidate is a great multi-tasker, efficient worker, team player, great customer service skills, friendly, positive, punctual, reliable, and dependable.
We are daytime only Monday - Friday 8am-6pm, and Saturdays 8:30am-1:00pm. No overnights!
