VCA Animal Medical Center is expanding its Patient Care Team and seeking a Veterinary Assistant!

Snapshot of Responsibilities :

In this position you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.

The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to :

• Providing support to the entire veterinaryhospitalstaff
• Ensure there is a clean, comfortable environment for patients and clients
• Ensuring that treatment areas and exam rooms remain fully stocked
• Restrain animals during examinations or vaccinations
• Keep accurate records and logs
• Sterilize equipment
• Observing patients for obvious signs of health concerns and reporting any findings to senior staff
• Client education and communication

Schedule : Full-time opportunitiesavailable, with flexible scheduling.

Compensation : Starting at $ $ / hour. Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.

Requirements : 6 months of Veterinary Assistant experience or enrolled in an AVMA accredited Veterinary Technician Program.
