GSVS VETERINARY EMERGENCY SERVICES ISELIN is excited to announce we are hiring Veterinary Assistants for our brand-new Emergent clinic!

GSVS VETERINARY EMERGENCY SERVICES ISELIN will be open from 11a to 9p, 7 days a week! We currently have opportunities for many different shifts and positions! GSVS Veterinary Emergency Services Iselin is an outpatient, walk-in service.

Veterinary Assistants will work alongside technicians and emergency veterinarians and have access to the most advanced diagnostic tools to provide the best possible care. On any given day, you can expect to do the following on your shifts:

• Run laboratory tests
• Provide SQ Fluids and medications to patients with oversight
• Triage patients
• Assist in patient care
• Administer medications
• Help keep hospital clean and stocked
• Assist with phone calls and checking in clients

About you:

• At least one year experience as a veterinary assistant is required
• Proficiency in processing basic laboratory specimens
• Ability to work well in a highly collaborative environment
• Commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
• Positive outlook and friendly, team-orientated attitude
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• The ability to deliver exceptional client service
• Honesty, integrity, and a desire to learn and have fun!
