Seeking an experienced veterinary technician to join the first Fear Free Certified Practice serving the MOT area. We offer well and sick patient care, dentistry, radiology, and soft tissue surgery. Patient population includes dogs, cats and select small mammals/birds.
Employee must be proficient with basic technical skills including patient restraint, sample collection, basic grooming services (nail trims, ear cleaning, etc), and medication handling. Client service duties will also be required and employee must be comfortable with client communication, invoicing, and education. Experience in anesthesia and surgical monitoring is welcome but not required.
Other necessary skills include basic knowledge/experience with electronic medical records and in house laboratory equipment. Applicant must be friendly, detail oriented, responsible, able to work in a team, and eager to learn new things. Previous small animal veterinary technical experience is required.
