Vendor Quality Control Analyst evaluates vendor operations, products, and services for compliance with government and company quality standards. Conducts audits and testing of products, materials, and processes to measure effectiveness and compliance with company expectations. Being a Vendor Quality Control Analyst analyzes and monitors metrics and KPIs to suggest improvement initiatives. Works with vendors and identifies alternative vendors to mitigate risks and resolve problems. Additionally, Vendor Quality Control Analyst assists with drafting and negotiating service-level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are adequately defined. Prepares reports and updates on vendor status and quality. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Vendor Quality Control Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     IT Quality Control Analyst Senior

    Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote & office). Candidates will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint location in Washington DC.

    The IT Quality Control Analyst Sr Identifies and creates test assets and performs application testing.  

    How You Will Make an Impact:  

    • Leads and coordinates testing for small to medium initiatives.  

    • Identifies, creates, and executes the  appropriate Test Assets (plans, cases, scripts, metrics) to assure the developed application conforms to requirements and design.

    • Coordinates/executes testing across multiple testing phases, including SIT, UAT, and Regression.  

    • Defines appropriate testing methods to employ to assure developed application conforms to requirements and design.  

    • Creates and executes the appropriate Test Assets (plans, cases, scripts, metrics)  to assure the developed application conforms to requirements and design.

    • Participates in Peer Reviews to ensure the completeness of all Test Assets created.  

    • Understands and follows all applicable SDLC and testing processes.

    • Identifies, reports, and reviews defects in assessing application quality.  

    • May participate in the transition of software and systems into production.

    • Collects Test Data for test execution.

    • May participate in the transition of software and systems into production.  Identifies and collects Test Data for test execution.

    • Accountable for Test Data Management, collection of requirements, evaluation of available data in repositories, ID gaps, and owns test data provisioning tasks.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum 3 years executing application testing and/or IT quality experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.  Quality Certification, such as CSTE, CSQA, CMST, CSQE strongly preferred.

    • This position is part of our FGS (Federal Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.
