Vendor Quality Control Analyst evaluates vendor operations, products, and services for compliance with government and company quality standards. Conducts audits and testing of products, materials, and processes to measure effectiveness and compliance with company expectations. Being a Vendor Quality Control Analyst analyzes and monitors metrics and KPIs to suggest improvement initiatives. Works with vendors and identifies alternative vendors to mitigate risks and resolve problems. Additionally, Vendor Quality Control Analyst assists with drafting and negotiating service-level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are adequately defined. Prepares reports and updates on vendor status and quality. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Vendor Quality Control Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. We are actively hiring a Quality Control Analyst for our exciting team!
Description:
100% onsite
Shift hours would be 5x8 first shift, with a start time of 7:30AM - 4:00PM
Day to Day tasks:
Collection of various samples on campus: environmental monitoring, critical utilities, gas /compressed air collection.
What are the 3 technical must-have skills required for this role?
Environmental Monitoring, Water Collection, Gas/Compressed Air Collection
What are the preferred skills?
Bioburden Testing, Plate Enumeration/Reading, Endotoxin Testing
Possible expansion into lab testing, for assays such as Bioburden, Endotoxin.
Data entry / Review.
Maintenance and cleaning of routine equipment.
Collaborate on procedure revisions, as more experience is accrued, to drive process improvements.
Any previous laboratory experience preferred but not required.
Education Level: Bachelors Degree
