Vendor Quality Control Analyst evaluates vendor operations, products, and services for compliance with government and company quality standards. Conducts audits and testing of products, materials, and processes to measure effectiveness and compliance with company expectations. Being a Vendor Quality Control Analyst analyzes and monitors metrics and KPIs to suggest improvement initiatives. Works with vendors and identifies alternative vendors to mitigate risks and resolve problems. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including cost consultants, project management teams (internal and external), and vendors. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software tools. RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned. Compare budget data between e-Builder and Workday systems. Identify discrepancies and reconcile any inconsistencies. Adjust budget allocations based on vendor change orders and new contracts/purchase orders. Ensure accurate distribution of funds. Generate and maintain a project budget line-item correction sheet. Address any inaccuracies promptly. Conduct weekly cost touchpoints with cost consultants and CM cost managers. Attend Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings. Facilitate contract administration status calls. Approve invoices and purchase orders in Workday. Create and manage a contract status tracking log for non-CM vendors and designers. Review and approve monthly payment applications. Track and report on potential change orders (PCOs). Verify spend from project start through Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). Validate GMP matches documented CM buyout. Verify pay application cost validity, markups, and rates. Monitor intra-project budget holds, allowances, and contingencies. Coordinate offsite visits to material suppliers for stored material billing verification. Maintain a payment application comment log. Track and release retainage for subcontractors and CMs. Utilize eBuilder for document management and budget tracking. Keep track of all PCOs and report on spend buckets. Verify the validity of requested changes. Route PCOs through consultants and the QTS team. Create OCO cover sheets and package PCOs for submission. Monitor spending of allowances by CM. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent professional experience Three or more years of experience in construction or project management Proficiency with financial software (e.g., Workday, e-Builder). Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience working in data center construction Experience with project management software Relevant certifications KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization. Use organizational skills to determine prioritization and appropriate multitasking. Focus on scope, tone, and quality of processes and their respective documentation, as well as the associated goals, priorities, deadlines, and weaknesses. Perform necessary and timely follow-up, escalating appropriately if necessary. Excellent writing skills for generating clear, concise release notes and documentation. Strong analytical capabilities coupled with business acumen needed to proactively solve problems facing the organization. Ability to work independently, with supervision, on a project of varying complexity Actively invests in growing yourself and others to build the talent and capabilities required for sustained success.
