Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting the warehouse and shipping departments with multiple tasks, having the willingness to switch from task to task as assigned, including working in various areas of the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pick customer orders using an RDT.
• Replenish parts into the FSA racks.
• Consolidate parts in the FSA racks.
• Inspect cartons for damage and incorrect labeling.
• Get labels from the printers for the skids.
• Stack empty skids.
• Verify orders are accurate and complete.
• Stuff shippers with filler; tape and stack on pallets.
• Maintain equipment.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.
• Be actively involved in proactive measures towards safety for self and co-workers.
• Ability to meet job expectations and duty changes as required by changing company needs.
• Other job activities as assigned.

Essential Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and work instructions or procedure manuals
• Math skills used add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to compute rate, ratio, and percentage
• Critical thinking skills necessary to solve practical problems
• Basic computer skills

Equipment Used:

• Pallet jack, presto lift, mouse cart, box knife

Personal Protective Equipment/Clothing Required (PPE):

• Fully enclosed shoes
• Cut proof gloves if needed
