Vehicle Washer/Equipment Cleaner cleans interiors and exteriors of transportation vehicles such as airplanes, automobiles, buses, railroad cars, and streetcars. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Vehicle Washer/Equipment Cleaner is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Vehicle Washer/Equipment Cleaner performs a variety of tasks. Penske Vehicle Services is looking to bring a full time Software Validation Specialist onto our team at our Auburn Hills, MI location.
Job Description:
The Software Specialists will pull Calibrations from retrofit vehicles with Wi-Tech or CDA, compare the pulled calibrations to a matrix of updated vehicle calibrations, and let the Retrofit Technician know which modules need to be updated. The software specialist will also help to resolve software related issues for the technicians by communicating with Stellantis engineers, and utilizing their problem solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain released software levels for all modules
- ECU matrix is created and maintained
- Vet software upgrade per program
- Ensure proper software alignment per vehicle is documented
- Interface with engineering for issue resolves on programs
- Chase atypical issues with software
- Identify hardware conflicts with software
- Understand and document the sequencing or special handling of module updates
- Manage set up of tools for all mechanics - Witech / Micropods / etc.
Required Skills:
- Experience with: Witech / CDA / CAN Case
- Organized

- Mechanical knowledge (FCA product preferred)
