Position Title: Vehicle Maintenance/Operations Manpower Management and Vehicle Planning Support in support of AFCENT/A4

United States Air Force Central Command (USAFCENT) is the Air Force Service Component of United States Central Command (USCENTCOM), a joint Department of Defense combatant command responsible for U.S. security interests in 27 nations that stretch from the Horn of Africa through the Persian Gulf region, into Central Asia. This position supports USAFCENT Command Operations Center in support of AFCENT/Chief of Staff.

Security Clearance Level: Secret/SCI

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Vehicle Management FAM in the management, monitoring, analyzing, and assessment of 400 rotational manpower requirements deployed to 20 USAFCENT contingency operations. Actions include: working with A1 to manage the DRMD ensuring each rotation receives the correct manpower of the correct AFSC and grade, assisting deployed managers with changes/increases/decreases to their manpower requirements, and routinely updating the DRMD.
• Assist the Vehicle Program Manager in the development of OPLANs. Actions include determining wartime manpower and vehicle requirements and translation of those requirements into a TPFDD.
• Assist the Fleet Manager and Vehicle Support Chain Operations Squadron (VSCOS) in accomplishing Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance. Actions include coordinating with deployed units to sort out inventories, acceptance documentation, annual physical inventory, and leased vehicle cost tracking.
• Assist Fleet Management in the management of 6,000 deployed and WRM authorizations at 20 locations throughout the USCENTCOM AOR. Actions include vehicle shipments/receipts, AF Form 601 and LTI processing, annual priority buy submissions, quarterly lease data reporting, liaise between VSCOS and deployed Fleet Managers for data calls and daily operating issues, DEPOT Program management, command levy actions, and Federal Automotive Statistical Tool (FAST) data reporting.
• Assist the Vehicle Program Manager by working closely with USFACENT/A4X to compile WRM vehicle readiness status into required documents for higher headquarters reporting utilizing SORTS, ARTS, and OPLAN documents.

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Vehicle Fleet Management experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Minimum 3 years of experience utilizing the following USAF programs: Logistics Installations and Mission Support ‐ Enterprise View.
