Vehicle Maintenance Manager assists with the acquisition, operations, and maintenance of the organization's fleet of motor vehicles. Assigns vehicles and drivers, prepares schedules, and oversees dispatch operations. Being a Vehicle Maintenance Manager evaluates, purchases, leases, and disposes of vehicles to maintain the fleet. Develops and maintains vendor and service provider relationships for fuel, maintenance, and other essential services. Additionally, Vehicle Maintenance Manager develops and implements safety, preventive maintenance, and accident prevention programs. Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. May administer insurance policy coverage, negotiates agreements, and participate in claim resolution. Manages the fleet expense reporting and budgets. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Vehicle Maintenance Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Vehicle Maintenance Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Vehicle Condition Report Writer
Job is paid per car inspected - contract work 1099
Perform electronic condition report for each vehicle at assigned facilities - car auctions or retail sites.
Document the vehicle condition of the interior, exterior, trunk area, engine compartment and undercarriage of the vehicle, etc.
Correctly identify and document the vehicle details, including trim series, options, color, mileage, etc.
Take overall photos of the vehicle, and photos of damages with electronic device provided.
Paid per car inspected.
Inspection Skills & Experience - Requirements
Attention to detail, quality and accuracy of condition reporting.
Great customer service skills.
Electronic condition report knowledge.
N.A.A.A structural and flood guidelines expert.
Good verbal and written communication.
Minimum 2-3 years of auction or automotive field inspection experience with vehicle condition report writing is a MUST.
Ability to work in all conditions.
Ability to follow all applicable safety and health related guidelines.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged period.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat or kneel.
Ability to lift 30 lbs.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
Authorization to work in Unites States of America.
Successful background and drug test required.
