Vehicle Maintenance Manager assists with the acquisition, operations, and maintenance of the organization's fleet of motor vehicles. Assigns vehicles and drivers, prepares schedules, and oversees dispatch operations. Being a Vehicle Maintenance Manager evaluates, purchases, leases, and disposes of vehicles to maintain the fleet. Develops and maintains vendor and service provider relationships for fuel, maintenance, and other essential services. Additionally, Vehicle Maintenance Manager develops and implements safety, preventive maintenance, and accident prevention programs. Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. May administer insurance policy coverage, negotiates agreements, and participate in claim resolution. Manages the fleet expense reporting and budgets. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Vehicle Maintenance Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Vehicle Maintenance Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. What You’ll Do: The Operations Manager Trainee is responsible for varies duties in the operations office. They will be cross trained on all fields of operations and oversee accounts payable, direct the processing of invoices and payments, and manage expense accounts and budget reports. Job Duties: Assists in accounts payable Assists in DMV paperwork processing Assists in Invoicing Conducts physical inventory counts at each branch Creates work orders to maintain inventory in front line ready condition Test drives equipment Researches discrepancies Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Records purchases Maintains database Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry and answering telephones Job Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or the equivalent Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft office suite or related software. Thorough Understanding of accounts payable functions. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills Strong communication skills Proficient in relevant computer applications Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Physical Requirement: Must be able to pass post offer drug test Compensation: $18.50-$20.50/hourly commission depending on skills and experience PLUS commission!
