Vehicle Maintenance Manager assists with the acquisition, operations, and maintenance of the organization's fleet of motor vehicles. Assigns vehicles and drivers, prepares schedules, and oversees dispatch operations. Being a Vehicle Maintenance Manager evaluates, purchases, leases, and disposes of vehicles to maintain the fleet. Develops and maintains vendor and service provider relationships for fuel, maintenance, and other essential services. Additionally, Vehicle Maintenance Manager develops and implements safety, preventive maintenance, and accident prevention programs. Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. May administer insurance policy coverage, negotiates agreements, and participate in claim resolution. Manages the fleet expense reporting and budgets. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Vehicle Maintenance Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Vehicle Maintenance Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Position summary: Increase profitability of company by reducing process related downtime. This includes scheduling of preventive maintenance and controlling labor costs. Strong electrical/mechanical skills, Parts inventory control and vendor contact.
Qualifications (Basic Knowledge, skills and abilities):
Have experience in a maintenance supervisory and or management role.
Have general plant knowledge in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Experience and or knowledge in manufacturing automation equipment. (Robotic, vision and PLC is a plus)
Possess good troubleshooting skills
Have ability to make daily, weekly maintenance plan.
Strong leadership and communication skill
Primary Position responsibilities:
Establish section budget and control spending to plan.
Establish and implement section business plan.
Supervise and provide work direction for maintenance and repair work of facilities and equipment.
Maintain operating condition of building and equipment.
Implement preventative maintenance system/schedule to ensure work orders are released in a timely manner.
Consult and be a point of contact with outside vendors for any building or equipment needs.
Ensure company compliance with state and federal codes and laws.
Support development of 5S, TPM and Kaizen programs.
Ensure safe operations.
Have the ability to establish and execute a monthly plan.
Will ensure daily control items align with the company business plan and key objectives/metrics.
Must execute action items per the annual business plan to help achieve section key metrics (downtime reduction, cost reduction).
Requires extensive knowledge of Maintenance practices and procedures.

Perform problem analysis & resolution (5ps, TTRs, etc.
Control department overtime costs
Communicate with upper management.
Train associates and get them the skills that they are lacking
Verify that all PM’s are completed and scheduled.
Maintain a safe work environment for all associates
Good communication skills, both verbal and written to department associates and outside suppliers
Safe work practices
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of machine shop equipment, mechanical skills, National Electric Code, OHSA regulations, blueprints and schematics preferred.
Ability to work overtime on short notices is required.
