Job Description :

Overview : We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Temporary Teller at Credit Union Name .

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently and accurately processing financial transactions.

This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension based on business needs.

Responsibilities : Customer Service :

Customer Service :

Greet and assist members in a friendly and professional manner. Address customer inquiries and concerns, providing accurate information or directing them to the appropriate department.

Transaction Processing :

Conduct various financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, accurately and efficiently. Verify and balance cash drawers, ensuring precision in handling currency and coin.

Product Knowledge :

Stay informed about the credit union's products and services to effectively cross-sell and promote additional offerings to members.

Compliance :

Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and credit union policies to ensure compliance and minimize risk. Verify identification and authorization for all transactions in accordance with established procedures.

Recordkeeping :

Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure proper documentation is completed for each transaction.

Team Collaboration :

Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve organizational goals. Assist colleagues during peak periods or as needed.

Professionalism :

Uphold a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with member information and transactions. Demonstrate a positive attitude and contribute to a positive work environment.

Technology Proficiency :

Utilize computer systems and other technology tools for transaction processing and recordkeeping.

Flexibility :

Adapt to changing work schedules and responsibilities as needed, including occasional weekends or extended hours during peak times.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a banking or credit union setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with financial software.
