```Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests. Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers preferably Basset-trained (but not a deal breaker)
- Take orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Handle cash transactions and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the food industry and beverage trends
- Proficient in retail math calculations for handling cash transactions
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating drink prices
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Understanding of brewing techniques for craft cocktails
