JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Van Driver and/or Van's Direct Support
Professional (2nd staff passenger)
· Transporting residents safely and professionally to and from daily programming.
· Ensuring resident safety and wellness at all times.
· Maintaining accurate time sheets, note taking, and staff checklist completion.
· Caring for vehicles by notifying management of any safety issues or items needing to be remedied regarding company vehicles.
· Conducting quality assurance checklists during shifts.
· Other tasks associated with the care and safety or WILO NJ residents as deemed necessary by direct supervisor.
HOURS:
Monday - Friday
30 hours per week (approx. 6 hours per day)
Morning route: Approx. 7:45am-10:30am with a break in between the afternoon route.
Afternoon route: Approx. 1:30pm-3:30/4pm.
Ideal candidates will live within close proximity to Maplewood, NJ.

A background check, drug testing, and staff mandatory trainings in CPR, Danielle's Law, Stephen Kominos Law, Incident reporting, Prevention of abuse, neglect & exploitation and other trainings mandated by the Division of Developmental Disabilities are required.
Experience in transporting individuals preferred and experience working with adults with special needs a plus.
Current driving license and clean driving record required (less than 5 points), along with driving abstract.
