Position: Valet Supervisor
Location: Butterfield Country Club
Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction: Interact courteously and professionally with members, guests, and fellow employees.
Self-Management: Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be a self starter and able to work without close supervision.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively in a team environment, supporting other valet staff and bag drop personnel. Hires, trains, and fires all Valet attendants which peak season is up to 20p.
Driving Skills: Drive various vehicles proficiently and shuttle cars as needed.
Attendance: Attend work as scheduled, including weekends and holidays when necessary.
Communication: Use group texts and emails to communicate daily with valet attendants.
Functionality: Perform all required duties, including driving and shuttle operations.
Training: Train all valet positions as required.
Professionalism: Interact with others in a professional manner.
Primary Duties:
· Hiring and scheduling of all Valet attendants.
· Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the Valet House and washrooms on a daily basis.
· Greet and assist members and guests upon their arrival, collecting necessary information such as names, affiliation with a member, purpose of visit, and arrival time.
· Ensure a welcoming and satisfactory experience for all members and guests entering or leaving the club.
· Responsible for member and guest satisfaction/experience as they enter or leave the club.
· Train valet attendants to properly record and safe keeping of all keys of parked cars in order to retrieve them when the members or guests are leaving the Club.
· Train valet staff to communicate collected information promptly and accurately to the relevant personnel via radio communication.
· Responsible for relaying any unsafe traffic incidents or accidents to management.
· Address any safety concerns promptly and report them to management.
· Stand for extended periods, occasionally exceeding several hours, as required by the role.
· Ensures the housekeeping duties sweeping and moping all floors in Valet house areas as needed.
· Approval of Valet payroll on a biweekly basis.
· Ensure all Valet staff employees are in uniforms with nametags on a daily basis.
Supervision:
Report to and be supervised by the Assistant Clubhouse Manager.
Qualifications:
Driver’s License required
Previous experience in valet services or a related field preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Must be able to read and write in English.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Attention to detail and a focus on maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual labor as needed.
Must be able to attend work as scheduled and be able to work weekends and holidays when necessary.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
