Assists the Used Equipment Manager, Area Sales Managers, and Machines Sales Representatives in all activities related to used machine sales. Being an Used Equipment Sales Representative requires an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Used Equipment Sales Representative works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. About the Position:
The successful candidate must be able communicate to customers all applicable products and programs, including financial and merchandising plans, handle customer concerns quickly through proper channels. Must demonstrate administrative requirements to complete appropriate paperwork, log and input data, conduct trade inspections, manage expenses, follow leads and understand and follow policies. Ideal candidate will professionally represent the company by continuing industry education and attending meetings, by coordinating with member companies, other departments and fellow employees. Appropriate presentation at all levels is expected. You will report directly to the General Manager for Used Equipment – HGI. It will be very important for you to promote and adhere to strict safety standards and maintain company assets in good condition.
Qualifications & Experience Needed: We are looking for candidates that have strong PC skills with MS Office, strong knowledge of heavy equipment and general understanding of the sales process. BA/BS preferred. This position is an office based sales position and can be located at either our Billings, MT or Seattle, WA branches.
Previous commission sales experience highly desirable. Must have strong pioneering sales skills and an outgoing personality in person, online and verbally over the phone. Must possess a valid driver's license. Bilingual (Spanish) candidate is preferred.
