Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Specialty Crop Equipment Sales Representative. In this role, you will focus on catering to the unique needs of vegetable producers, wineries, nurseries, and orchard businesses. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of vegetable production and related industries, coupled with a keen awareness of the impact that equipment choices have on farming operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of specialty crop production, including the needs and challenges faced by vegetable producers, wineries, nurseries, and orchard businesses.

• Cultivate relationships with existing and potential customers in the specialty crop sector.

• Provide expert guidance on the selection and use of John Deere equipment tailored to the unique requirements of specialty crop operations.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and support of equipment and services.

• Actively prospect and engage with customers not currently associated with Atlantic Tractor, expanding our customer base.

• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive offerings.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the  understanding of vegetable production, wineries, nurseries, and/or orchard businesses.

• Familiarity with John Deere equipment or similar agricultural machinery.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proven track record of sales success and customer relationship management.

• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

The salary range for this position is $60K - $80K depending on experience.
