Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Specialty Crop Equipment Sales Representative. In this role, you will focus on catering to the unique needs of vegetable producers, wineries, nurseries, and orchard businesses. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of vegetable production and related industries, coupled with a keen awareness of the impact that equipment choices have on farming operations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of specialty crop production, including the needs and challenges faced by vegetable producers, wineries, nurseries, and orchard businesses.
Cultivate relationships with existing and potential customers in the specialty crop sector.
Provide expert guidance on the selection and use of John Deere equipment tailored to the unique requirements of specialty crop operations.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and support of equipment and services.
Actively prospect and engage with customers not currently associated with Atlantic Tractor, expanding our customer base.
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive offerings.
Qualifications:
Experience in the understanding of vegetable production, wineries, nurseries, and/or orchard businesses.
Familiarity with John Deere equipment or similar agricultural machinery.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven track record of sales success and customer relationship management.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
