We are looking for an experienced Used Car Sales Manager to join its growing and expanding family. The Used Car Sales Manager ensures that the dealership meets its used car sales quotas and its gross objectives on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. and profitability in the used-vehicle profit centers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an acquisition strategy for pre-owned vehicles
• Develops, implements, and monitors a follow-up system for used-vehicle purchasers.
• Ensure effective inventory mix and pricing to market.
• Partner with the Service Department to manage the reconditioning of used vehicles and get vehicles front-line ready as quickly as possible.
• Make sure cars are pictured and represented with the correct options online.
• Conduct daily and weekly sales meetings.
• Facilitate pre-delivery with the Service Manager.
• Provide on-the-job training for salespeople.
• Maintain a balanced vehicle inventory and establish a program for moving used cars in inventory over 60 days.

Qualifications

Must be legally and technically able to safely operate Company and customer-owned vehicles.

• Must be insurable by Company insurance carrier.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Six years of automotive used sales management experience.
• Excellent communication skills. Excellent managerial skills.

• All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver's license.
