McAdams is seeking an energetic planning professional to join our Planning Design team as an Urban Planner in our downtown Raleigh office. Working in a collaborative team environment this person will be responsible for helping grow our creative Parks, Urban Planning and Design practice.
Position Purpose
The selected candidate will collaborate with the Planning and Design team and other services and market sectors within the firm to produce high-quality plans, designs, reports, graphics, documents, and materials related to various projects within our national practice. The urban planning position would primarily focus on public sector projects for communities across the US including small areas plans, downtown plans, corridor studies, system plans, visioning and strategic plans, and other short and long-term planning projects. To support planning projects, the successful candidate will complete various inventories and assessments, data analysis, policy audits, site investigations, and gap analysis as a basis for plan recommendations and action items.
