Undercarriage Technician jobs in Utah

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• To promote and support a culture of safety as the first consideration in all aspects of our business.
• Provide visual inspection of the machine with each undercarriage inspection.
• Inspect, Measure and Document all pertinent information related to the undercarriage and the results of the undercarriage inspection process.
• Document results in the designated undercarriage inspection application for future use and analysis.
• Review and identify Caterpillar versus Non-Caterpillar undercarriage products.
• Maintains records and files of work and revisions.
• Participates in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to obtain information on new products.
• Respond to internal and external customer inquiry and questions in a timely fashion, including but not limited to inspection scheduling needs.
• Elevate high priority issues and customers to the appropriate Product Support Sales Representatives and/or Manager.

Required Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
• Listens and gets clarification.
• Responds well to questions.
• Participates in meetings.
• Writes clearly and informatively. Edits work for spelling and grammar.
• Able to read and interpret written information.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to understand the basic dynamics of equipment operation and design, and Parts Product applications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the software applications of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point; Dealer CRM; Dealer Business System; Dealer email system.
