UNIX Systems Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the organization's UNIX operating systems and all related systems or software. Analyzes and resolves problems associated with server hardware/software and applications software and ensures scalability and appropriate integration with other systems. Being an UNIX Systems Administrator detects, diagnoses, and reports UNIX related problems on both UNIX server and UNIX desktop systems. Responsible for backup or recovery procedures. Additionally, UNIX Systems Administrator typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The UNIX Systems Administrator works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed.     Job Summary:

    Act as a liaison between potential, new, and existing customers and the service department; providing exceptional customer service. Initiate services by determining performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates and writing and closing repair orders.  Handle customer questions and complaints to ensure satisfaction.  
     
    Pay: $22.00 - $24.00/hourly depending on experience
    Schedule:
     Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, On-site in Omaha, Ne

     

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Handle customer inquiries and complaints over phone and in-person.
    • Customer service, processing, preparing will call and delivering, drop shipping or shipping parts to fulfill customer orders. 
    • Provide information about the products and services.
    • Assisting service shop and mobile technicians in identifying parts necessary for repairs. 
    • Document and update company and customer records based on interactions.
    • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services.
    • Coordinate customer repairs and installations.
    • Provide updates to customers as their work is completed.
    • Provide excellent customer service from intake to release of vehicle, and perform any additional follow up.
    • Advise the customer on the repairs that you recommend and offer a pricing quote.
    • Communicate with parts sellers and technicians to make sure everything needed is on hand.
    • Answer detailed questions about services performed and price information.
    • Open, prepare, and close out service repair orders.
    • Obtain required purchase order (PO) numbers from customers and follows up for any missing information.
    • Assist with shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks with inventory or units, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to corresponding individuals. 
    • Prepare shipping parcels and schedule pickups (Domestic and International).
    • Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by management.

    • Intermediate computer and data-entry skills; Windows based programs, Karmak Fusion a plus

    • Ability to multitask, work in high-stress settings and offer flexible hours on your schedule.
    • Self-motivated and can work independently.
    • Previous dealership experience is highly desired.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
    • Ability to build rapport with clients.
    • Utilizes critical thinking skills, problem solving abilities, and exercise good judgment when completing tasks in an efficient, accurate, and productive manner. 
    • Attendance and punctuality are essential job functions. Understand the typical format of company schedules in order to manage time efficiently.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to sit, stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb stairs/ladders.
    • Ability to lift / carry / push / pull up to 50lbs.
    • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
    • Ability to work in hot and cold temperature extremes.
    • Ability to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment)
