Trust Operations Officer directs the work of Trust Operations team in large and complex trust operations. Ensures that transactions are balanced and documented according to policies and procedures. Being a Trust Operations Officer oversees the input and maintenance of data in accounting systems and report generation. Coordinates the processing of dividends and disbursements. Additionally, Trust Operations Officer may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Trust Operations Officer manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Trust Operations Officer typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     SUMMARY

    In this role, you must be detail oriented, self-directed, highly organized, and be the ultimate team player. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work on a variety of tasks with strict timelines, and able to maximize the departments efficiency by identifying, assessing, and executing solutions to ensure regulatory compliance.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Exception item processing (NSF/OD/Non-Post)
    • Maintenance of Reg CC Holds and stop payments in Fiserv System
    • Investigate and complete Reg. E claims
    • Research and complete legal process requests such as Levies and Garnishments
    • Perform incoming and outgoing wire requests
    • Complete monthly and quarterly certifications
    • Fraud detection and processing of claims
    • Balance general ledger accounts
    • Perform daily ATM settlement balancing
    • Develop and maintain processes
    • Business and Consumer Online and mobile banking user set-up and maintenance
    • Complete Remote Deposit Capture and ACH Manager training with clients
    • ACH and Fedline processing
    • Participate in audit requests
    • Review new accounts for accuracy and ensure they adhere to regulatory requirements and meet Idaho Trust Banks new account standards
    • Core Banking System - User set-up and maintenance
    • Complete projects as requested
    • Other job duties as assigned

    • Minimum of at least 2 years of banking experience in back-office operations. Work-related experience should consist of a background in banking with an emphasis in branch operations, or branch administration.
    • Knowledge of NACHA rules and regulations
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Thorough knowledge of banking regulations and Bank Operations functions.
    • Experience with developing and training bank employees
    • Compiling, auditing, or verifying information.
    • Ability to use a personal computer, word processing, spreadsheets, and other job-related software programs.
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
    • Demonstrate integrity, professionalism and dependability
