The Trust Operations Officer position will be responsible for all aspects of trust operations, including Guaranty’s relationship with the trust accounting system platform (Accutrust/Cheetah) and all vendors/dealers who will manage accounts with Guaranty Bank & Trust. This position is also responsible for reconciliation of operating accounts, moving funds and client statements.
Job Duties:
- Evaluate business processes for efficiency and feasibility
- Create financial reports for Director of Trust & Wealth Management
- Serve as liaison with trust accounting system providers and other technology vendors.
- Develop implementation and execution plans for system enhancements and upgrades.
- Coordinate and participate in Disaster Recovery Testing.
- Maintain Continuity plan for Wealth Management Group.
- Prepare reports responsive to regulatory examination and audit requests.
- Oversee operating accounts, scanning and reconciliation.
- Generate ad hoc reports from trust account system.
- Coordinate system access rights with IT and Accutrust.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
- Receive very general guidance with respect to overall objectives; work is usually quite independent of other operate within specific policy guidelines.
- Represent the Bank in a courteous and professional manner.
- Complying with privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protection.
- Comply with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures.
- Complete and pass all required regulatory compliance training as assigned.
- Perform any additional duties and tasks assigned by management.

Education, Experience & Licenses:
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor’s degree - preferred
- Ten or more years related experience and/or training working in the trust operations environment.
