The Junior Trust Operations Specialist will be responsible for processing the movement of money and performing operational support duties of the Middle Office Financial Group. The role will report to the Manager of the Middle Office. This is a full-time position and the individual selected for this role will be required to work from the Citizens Bank Johnston Rhode Island location full time (this is not partially or fully remote position). It is expected that the individual fulfilling this role will continually gain more knowledge and skills through practice and mentorship, and with strong results-oriented performance will eventually be promoted into a Senior Operations Specialist role with increased and more complex responsibilities (e.g., approving money movement, approving reports and client communications, problem research and resolution, etc.).
Colleague must be detail-oriented, process work with a high degree of accuracy while following established processes and procedures and within short deadlines. They must also have an aptitude for identifying and escalating issues appropriately and quickly as well as be able to switch to different tasks with different processes frequently.
The following job responsibilities apply to day-to-day work, additional work will be assigned as determined by the Middle Office Manager or Assistant Manager/Team Lead.
