SUMMARY
The Trust Administrative Assistant is responsible for greeting customers as they enter the area. They must be able to work in a fast-paced, diversified and growing Trust & Wealth Management division. The Trust Administrative Assistant is responsible for the daily routine work of the department and should possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills. This person must have extreme attention to detail and accuracy. Success in this role requires strong customer service skills and exceptional communication skills. Knowledge of individual and small business retirement plans, taxation and a general understanding of investments is helpful.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
OPERATIONAL – Perform daily duties which include, but are not limited to; check writing, interest and dividend posting, asset balancing, income disbursements, document scanning, filing, assisting with 1099’s and annual reports and balancing general ledgers.
CUSTOMER SERVICE - Assist customers with questions regarding their account and other bank products. Possess a strong commitment and dedication to internal and external communication.
FARM MGMT – Process checks and deposits on farm software. Assist the farm manager.
OTHER DUTIES - As requested by management.

COMMUNICATION - Bank employees must be able to read, write, and comprehend internal and external correspondence. The need for effective communication in person, via telephone and through e-mail is vital. Employees need to effectively present information one-on-one and in small group situations.
MATHEMATIC - Bank employees are expected to be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers and decimals.
ANALYTICAL - Bank employees should be able to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Employees' thought processes and actions should reflect a high level of attention to detail. They should take the initiative to investigate and resolve problematic situations and operational discrepancies.
TECHNOLOGY - Bank employees should have a basic understanding of computer use, word processing, spreadsheets, and email. Employees are expected to be able to learn new software, hardware and cyber security best practices that apply to their job.
