Service Technician

TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. is a growing company representing Volvo & Mack Construction Equipment, along with being the Servicing Dealer for multiple other product lines that support the Construction and Agriculture Industry.

We are currently looking for Truck/Service technicians at our Rapid City site. 

An Truck Service Technician must be able to:

• Diagnose and repair equipment/trucks to includecompactors, excavators, loaders and other equipment.
• Respond promptly to customer needs in a positive, supportive and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed
• Communicate job progress to supervisor and customer as needed
• Complete service reports, order parts and maintain clear customer records

Qualifications:

• Two year technical degree and/or equivalent job experience in the service, truck or equipment field.. 
• Knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, track systems and components, pneumatic, electrical and fuel systems.
• Previous experience working on Volvo equipment is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent diagnostic and trouble-shooting skills.
• Computer, written and verbal communication skills.
