One of the largest Freightliner/Western Star Heavy Truck Dealerships in the Southeast is looking for a Service Manager with excellent customer support skills, who is a self-starter and strong leader for their Slidell, LA Service Department.

Responsibilities:

• Meet and greet the public in a professional manner
• Assist customers with technical support
• Demonstrate the values and professionalism of our company to current and prospective customers
• Set and meet profitability goals
• Effectively manage a workforce
• Work closely with other members of our team to exceed customer expectations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in both management and automotive or heavy truck service
• Mechanical experience and/or education is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and other web-based programs
• Retail experience is important
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent professional & interpersonal communication (verbal & written) skills
• Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing the team effectively
• Ability to guide, motivate, and lead others
• Skilled at cultivating long-term customer relationships
