Truck Service Manager manages day to day operations of a truck maintenance shop. Schedules, trains, and coordinates work of mechanics and technicians. Being a Truck Service Manager ensures inventory of replacement parts, tools, and equipment is maintained effectively. Establishes and enforces quality and safety standards and regulations for preventive maintenance and repairs. Additionally, Truck Service Manager knowledge of DOT rules and regulations. Experienced in heavy diesel engine diagnosis and repairs. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Truck Service Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Truck Service Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. MUST HAVE DIESEL TRUCK SHOP SERVICE MANAGER EXPERIENCEThe duties related to this position include but are not limited to the following:- Manages and coordinates repairs with the technicians and oversees service advisors of the shop.
- Supervises the sales team to ensure all repairs are transparent with the customers and to ensure a good customer experience when visiting our business.
- Monitor all shop duties and needs of the building.
- Maintaining and controlling shop parts and inventory.
- Responsible for leading and assigning tasks to shop mechanics to ensure maximum efficiency and minimize company costs, as well as, asset downtime.
Requirements:- Must possess a minimum of 5 years of shop management with a strong knowledge base of heavy highway equipment.
- Must have problem-solving skills and good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must possess strong management skills.

Schedule:- Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm.
- Every other Saturday 8am to 12pm.
