Truck Driver - Tire jobs in Nebraska

PURPOSE

As a Tire Truck Delivery Driver at Central Valley Ag, you will be responsible to provide safe, courteous, and efficient transportation solutions for the delivery of tire store products and services. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Repair and/or replace tires for CVA customers in the field or at the station.
• Provides accurate and efficient delivery of tires and all related products. 
• Collects delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes. 
• Provide service to CVA vehicles when needed.
• Maintains logs of working hours or of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. 
• Maintains equipment to be operational, safe working condition and cleanliness in appearance at all times. 
• Responsible for ensuring adequate inventory.
• Work with Location Manager on tire and tube inventory. 
• Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations and/or damage to the vehicles. 
• Obtains receipts or signatures for delivered goods. 
• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Obtains and maintains certification in the delivery of fuel. 
• Follow CVA credit policies.
• Other duties as assigned. 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

There are no supervisory roles with the position

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• 2 to 4 years tire related experience.
• High School or GED diploma.
• Training in OSHA and DOT requirements.  
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner and establish effective working relationships with internal operations and external customers.  
• Good basic mechanical skills.
• Works in a way that demonstrates safety is a priority.  Promotes a work environment that is safe for everyone.

• Ability to multi-task several assignments simultaneously and establish job priorities.
