Truck Driver Supervisor supervises the dispatching of trucks to convey freight to assigned destinations in a timely and efficient manner. Tracks deliveries via computer systems and monitors communication lines to assist with complex or immediate questions. Being a Truck Driver Supervisor reviews driver assignments, delivery time, and other transportation data to evaluate driver performance. Ensures dispatchers and drivers are educated and compliant with all DOT, state, local, and company regulations. Additionally, Truck Driver Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Job Description
As a Truck Driver in the Army National Guard, you are the backbone of military support. By transporting cargo and supplies, you’ll play an integral role in keeping the Guard moving forward.
In this role, you will operate all wheeled vehicles and equipment over various terrain and roadways; manage load, unload, and safety of personnel being transported;
employ defense techniques; identify, correct, or report vehicle deficiencies; and prepare vehicles for movement / shipment by air, rail, or vessel.

Job training for a Truck Driver consists of 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you'll learn basic Soldiering skills, and seven weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT), which includes practice in driving several types of military vehicles.
Part of this time is spent in the classroom and part in the field.
