Truck Driver - Heavy operates a large or heavy truck that transports cargo to and from specified locations on time and according to schedule. Operates vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations. Being a Truck Driver - Heavy conducts routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition. Manages appropriate cargo documentation and provides necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods. Additionally, Truck Driver - Heavy coordinates the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured. Maintains contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Commercial Driver License (CDL) - Class A. May require a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC). Typically reports to a supervisor. The Truck Driver - Heavy works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.     CDL- A Driver / Truck Driver Responsibilities:

    • Intermodal / Containers
    • Day Cabs/Slip Seating
    • No Touch Freight
    • Day and night shift available; work Sun-Thurs or Tue-Sat
    • Automatics
    • Home Daily
    • Driver must live within 50 miles of Salt Lake CIty, UT
    • Run to Grantsville, Bear River CIty and Ogden, UT
    • Average $1200 to $1600  per week
    • Average 1000 miles weekly
    • Drop and Hook
    • $12.50 stop pay; $24.50 per load; $15/hour; Avg 2 stops per load
    • Must have Hazmat or be willing to get it upon hire

    CDL-A Driver / Truck Driver Requirements:

    • 6 months verifiable recent tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years
    • Local experience will be considered 
    • No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
    • No more than 4 jobs in the past 12 months
    • No more than 3 preventable accidents in the past 2 years.
    • No major moving violation in the past 12 months
    • No more than 1 termination in the past 5 years and it can't be from your last employer
    • DUI must be outside of 10 years 
    • Felonies and misdemeanors will all be reviewed by Security
    • Hair Follicle and Urine drug screen required
