STS is seeking an experienced Mechanic with an active CDL A License for its Selinsgrove location. This is a full-time position and pay will be competitive based on education-level and experience.
Responsibilities:
· Diagnose and repair trailers and heavy/light truck equipment and complete installation of truck equipment including without limitation: snowplows, liftgates, hoists, van and dump bodies
· Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on trailer and truck equipment including routine technical repairs and make recommendations for future repairs
· Document work order details within the Company’s internal order and billing program
· Abide by all policies and safety rules and assist in maintaining a clean, safe work environment
· Driving consists of picking up and delivering of customer vehiclesand transporting trailers between Company locations
Qualifications:
· Active CDL A with clean driving record
· Must provide own tools
· Demonstrate diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs
· The ability to demonstrate successful welding skills in non-standard situations and on varying materials is a plus
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with other employees and management

· Visually inspect small defects and/or small parts
· Operate machines, motor vehicles, hand tools, and job specific equipment and tools; determine the accuracy and thoroughness of work
