- Manages the Treasury team with the objective of optimizing cash flow to effectively and efficiently meet the financial obligations of the company.
- Manages the debt obligations of the companies in compliance with the terms and conditions outlined in the debt agreements, .
- Manages the banking relationships which support the Cash/Treasury Management functions of NA.
- Reviews processes & procedures to establish best practices for the treasury department
- Manages the Treasury team with the objective of optimizing cash flow to effectively and efficiently meet the financial obligations of the company
- Manages the debt obligations of the companies in compliance with the terms and conditions outlined in the NA debt agreements, bond indentures and derivatives as contracts and FEC’s.. .
- Interacts with global senior bank officials in the administration of Sasol NA’s Debt. Confirms details received from the Facility Agent regarding interest/principal payments. Prepares notices regarding loan maturity under the terms of the various debt instruments for execution.
- Manages the banking relationships and compensation for the services which support the Cash/Treasury Management functions of NA.
- Manages the cash operation and liquidity position for North America (NA), including the cash forecasting for the entire NA organization including reporting to senior management on our cash position and possible cash draws needed from various NA credit facilities.
- Prepares the required documentation for establishing bank accounts, bank services and Letter of Credit Applications and has administrative responsibility for all corporate bank accounts.
- Implements best practices and procedures in the treasury department to insure the efficient and effective operation of the department.
- Ensure proper governance and internal controls in the Treasury Department and ongoing SOX compliance.
University Bachelors Degree in Finance or Business
- 10 years relevant experience
- Experience with Debt Compliance
- Knowledge of Cash Management/Treasury Systems, Federal Reserve Banking and NACHA rules
Required Personal/Professional Skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail as well as
- Organizational, verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills to interact with banking officers both domestic and international, outside legal counsel and global colleagues
- Software skills in: SAP, Excel, Word
