JOB SUMMARY:

BioCryst is seeking a Treasury Manager to utilize their skills to support all aspects of the company’s Global Treasury Operations. The successful candidate will provide direct support to the Executive Director, Global Treasurer and focus on cash management functions to include daily treasury operations, provi.de accurate cash reporting, administer banking platforms, process a monthly netting cycle, prepare cash forecasting, assist with periodic debt compliance requirements, and assist with ad hoc projects supporting senior management initiatives. In addition, the role will also assist with Treasury policies and procedures, SOX narratives and controls, and internal and external audits. #LI-Remote

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor daily cash position for US, Canada, Europe, and Japan legal entities.
• Review and action daily ACH and/or Positive Pay exceptions.
• Research wire returns and initiate wire investigations.
• Place stop payments as needed.
• Provide month-end investment reports, bank statements, and other deliverables to Controllership team.
• Assist with global bank account openings and compilation of required corporate documents and Know Your Client documentation for account openings and annual KYC reviews.
• Maintain Global Bank Account list with account openings, closings, bank account details and current authorized signatories.
• Administer global banking platforms – add, change, and remove Users and assign entitlements.
• Analyze monthly bank fees and services, and monitor earning credit.
• Implement new bank technologies, products, and services.
• Assist with monthly multi-lateral Netting Cyle to settle Intercompany Receivables and Payables to ensure timely funding to subsidiaries.
• Prepare and monitor letters of credit and bank guarantees as needed.
• Prepare certain cash and debt schedules required for quarterly debt compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Treasury policies and procedures and SOX controls, assist with SOX testing and documentation.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Assist with the selection and implementation of a Treasury workstation.
• Administer issuance of new corporate credit cards, changes in card limits, and card terminations.
• Assist other departments with quarter-end and ad-hoc information requests as needed.
• Identify and recommend process improvements.
• Lead and assist with treasury projects and initiatives.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CTP or CTP candidate preferred.
• 5-7 years of global Treasury experience with knowledge of foreign exchange.
• Knowledge of banking systems, services, and processes as well as experience with treasury workstations.
• Strong knowledge of the principles of Treasury and cash management within a publicly traded company.
• Pro-active individual who can work independently and collaboratively and is able to set and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities.
• Possess excellent written and verbal skills.
• Ability to cultivate cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively with a diverse set of internal teams as well as external business partners.
• Experience in implementing and ongoing testing SOX controls with familiarity of risk areas.
• Expertise with Excel and strong proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Experience with Oracle or similar ERP & business intelligence application, banking platforms and other analytic tools.
