Treasury Director manages and oversees all aspects of daily treasury operations to meet the financial obligations of the organization. Oversees cash reporting and forecasting, credit administration, lender compliance requirements, administration of business insurance programs, and debt facility modeling. Being a Treasury Director reviews and approves cash allocation reports, investment records, and expense and earnings forecasts. Develops department policies, procedures, and internal controls. Additionally, Treasury Director ensures policies and procedures meet the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Treasury Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Treasury Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.   • The Director, U.S. Treasury will play an integral role in DLL’s U.S. treasury activities. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational cash management, balance sheet management, interest rate risk management and the U.S. Treasury P/L. The role reports into the U.S. Treasurer and is highly visible within the organization with accountability for the following primary responsibilities.

    Day to Day

    • Ensure U.S. Treasury related policies and procedures are adequately designed and operating effectively.
    • Responsible for change management execution associated with contract management systems.
    • Oversee and support cash management with on average $175 million of cash movement per day.
    • Ensure working capital efficiencies and proper, efficient use of equity on a $16 billion balance sheet.
    • Forecasting interest for budget and periodic updates.
    • Full understanding of the U.S. Treasury P/L and the point of contact for variances between actual results and budget.
    • Oversee all commercial banking relationships and periodic RFP for bank related services.
    • Approve and supervise intercompany funding activities.
    • Support GBU’s on cost of funds, break funding, and contract negotiations.
    • Manage and maintain intercompany loan documentation.

    Essentials

    • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
    • Undergraduate degree in accounting, business administration, finance or quantitative discipline required.
    • Big 4 experience, MBA, CFA, CTP or CPA a plus
    • Comfortable working with large data sets and cash flow modeling experience required.
    • Knowledge of balance sheet management, accounting principles, cash management operations and cashflow forecasting.
    • Analytical with strong problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • Experience with change management execution associated with contract management systems.
    • Experienced manager of people across areas of responsibility.
    • Strong management and communication skills.
    • Experience collaborating across multiple teams in a matrix organization.
