Treasury Director jobs in Boise, ID

Treasury Director manages and oversees all aspects of daily treasury operations to meet the financial obligations of the organization. Oversees cash reporting and forecasting, credit administration, lender compliance requirements, administration of business insurance programs, and debt facility modeling. Being a Treasury Director reviews and approves cash allocation reports, investment records, and expense and earnings forecasts. Develops department policies, procedures, and internal controls. Additionally, Treasury Director ensures policies and procedures meet the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Treasury Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Treasury Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Staff Accountant – Treasury

     

    The Staff Accountant -Treasury has the responsibility of overseeing Stinker’s cashflow, no pressure or anything. They say cash is king and we are looking for the newest member of the Stinker royal court. A protector of assets, and slayer of bank reconciliations, this financial knight will know how to handle numbers with a whiff of victory and not a trail of stink. Owning bank relations, identifying risk, and ensuring compliance will all be critical success factors for sniffing out any potential financial pitfalls.  

     

    What You’ll Do: 

    • Reconciling banking activity between bank reports and our accounting system.
    • Preparing journal entries to record monthly changes in debt, cash, and accounts receivable.
    • Reconciling treasury-related balance sheet accounts (debt, cash, leases, etc.).
    • Managing transfers from depository accounts to concentration accounts.
    • Working with our banking representatives to address discrepancies.
    • Reviewing and approving transfers and payments from the AP department.
    • Familiarity with banking transaction file types (NACHA, BAI, etc.).
    • Familiarity with treasury controls.

     

    What You’ll Need:

     

    • Effective time management, as with most things today, there are a lot of moving pieces and skunks headed in multiple directions!
    • Solution-focused problem solving. 
    • 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
    • Ability to analyze, research and explain financial information in ways non-financial people can understand.
    • Experience with multi-bank and multi-entry accounting preferred.
    • Familiarity with cash forecasting and budgeting.

    Hours:  8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
