Treasury Director manages and oversees all aspects of daily treasury operations to meet the financial obligations of the organization. Oversees cash reporting and forecasting, credit administration, lender compliance requirements, administration of business insurance programs, and debt facility modeling. Being a Treasury Director reviews and approves cash allocation reports, investment records, and expense and earnings forecasts. Develops department policies, procedures, and internal controls. Additionally, Treasury Director ensures policies and procedures meet the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Treasury Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     • Create and execute call strategy plan to achieve sales goals based on referrals and joint calling with assigned work groups.
    • Make written and verbal presentations to clients, prospects and staff as needed.

    • Identify targeted client needs and offer customized solutions.
    • Act on cross-sales opportunities within existing client portfolios.

    In addition, a Treasury Management Consultant II will:

    • Independently develop a prospect/client calling program, including the identification, research, prioritization, and call coordination. Such calls will be made solo, or in a lead role, inviting relationship managers to attend.
    • Possess a deep knowledge of all Cash Management products, including features, benefits, pricing and implementation requirements.

    Relationship Group Assignment

    Establish and maintain rapport with all relationship managers individually and as a group so as to:

    • Know relationship manager sales goals and client base
    • Participate in relationship managers calling strategies
    • Communicate product information so as to increase relationship manager product knowledge
    • Assist in proposal preparation and other communications to customers
    • Recommend sales opportunities to include sales to prospects and cross-sales to existing clients.

    In addition, a Treasury Management Consultant II will:

    • Assist relationship managers in the development of calling strategies.
    • Communicate prospect opportunities, and personal calling plan, to relationship managers of assigned work groups.

    Customer Service

    • Respond to assigned work groups and clients directly about client issues.
    • Resolve issues quickly and accurately, keeping all related parties current of resolution status and targeted resolution date.
    • Know and utilize internal resources in servicing of clients.
    • Communicate recurring or serious product issues to management.
    • Recommend solutions to improve customer services to assigned work groups and management.

    Product Implementation

    • Coordinate with Commercial Services Officer group to ensure proper account documentation and all requisite agreement execution.
    • Verify accurate pricing.
    • Monitor implementation progress.
    • Coordinate with Commercial Services Officer to establish a schedule of implementation tasks, and targeted completion dates with all involved parties.

    Education / Experience:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Undergraduate degree in business administration or equivalent experience, preferred.
    • 0 – 3 years’ experience in a business banking environment.
    • Service-Plus Certified
    • Licensed to drive a car

    Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Good attention to detail
    • Excellent follow-up skills
    • Able to work independently; can reliably maintain a productive, personal work schedule
    • Basic proficiency in PC software including word processing and spreadsheet programs, and bank customer information and transaction programs
    • Understanding of the bank’s policies and procedures

    Working Conditions / Environment / Potential Hazards:

    • While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly works in general office setting with a controlled climate.
    • Work involves being able to concentrate on the matter at hand, sometimes managing distracting work conditions and frequent employee and customer contacts and interruptions during the day.
    • Work requires regular attendance, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule with willingness to work additional hours as needed.

    Physical Requirements:

    • The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, type, and speak with internal and external customers for extended periods of time.
    • Typically sitting at a desk or table; intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching to file materials.
    • Work may involve the constant use of computer screens.
    • Ability to operate a computer keyboard, multi-line telephone, photocopier, scanner, fax machine, and other office equipment including those related to completing banking services in the branches. Work requires dexterity of hands and fingers with repetitive wrist and hand motion.
    • Occasional lifting 20 lbs (i.e., deposit bags, money trays, loan files, boxes)

    • Salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 annually. The specific salary offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to applicant’s knowledge, skills and experience relevant to the position.
