Treasury Analyst jobs in Worcester, MA

The Treasury Analyst supports the Treasurer in a broad range of treasury and enterprise risk management and liability insurance activities related to day-to-day treasury operations, cash flow and liquidity management, and analysis for acquisitions and divestitures.

Essential responsibilities  

Treasury: 

• Monitor daily consolidated cash position of Ascentria’s individual legal entities (both operating and non-operating cash); coordinate cash concentration of subsidiaries, prepare daily liquidity position and propose investment or borrowing amounts.
• With Supervisor, analyze working capital needs and carry out appropriate action plans.
• Coordinate, analyze and report the organization’s operating and non-operating cash position weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
• Assist with preparing Companywide 13 Week Rolling operating cash flow forecast
• Maintain metrics for reporting and analyzing working capital position.
• Process electronic funds transfers such as wires and ACH transactions.
• Provide treasury expertise and analytical support to cross-functional teams supporting multiple subsidiaries.
• Assist with preparing due diligence covenant reports for debt agreements.
• Prepare and maintain bank account documentation, bank account database, and banking records.

Enterprise Risk Management:

•  Assist in the monitoring of the Company’s Enterprise Risk Management function and Lability Insurance plans.

• Assist in the annual renewal process for the organization-wide enterprise and insurance risk management program.
• Provide management reporting on the following; claim status, change in coverage levels, and insurance expense
• Assist in developing and coordinating risk control programs to prevent losses and reduce premiums.
• Provide input for the insurance budgets as part of Annual Budget Planning process.
• Submit claims and monitor payments. Participates in appraisal and adjustment proceedings.
• Alert management to possible P&L exposure.

Qualifications  

• BA/BS in finance, accounting, business or economics preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in treasury operations management and enterprise risk management experience required.   CTP designation a plus.
• Demonstrated mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
• Highly organized and detailed oriented. Have a strong sense of urgency in executing responsibilities and flexible when business needs require immediate changes to priorities.
• Prior knowledge and experience with online banking software and products.
•  Proficiency in PC and Excel. Functional knowledge of PowerPoint a plus. Ability to learn new software packages.
• Some experience with reporting and financial planning and analysis and preparing budgets.
