    We are in search of a Pricing Treasury Analyst I or Pricing Treasury Analyst II to join our Treasury department in Spokane, Washington (Headquarters) or Tempe, Arizona. This full-time position reports to the Manager, Pricing and is responsible for daily and monthly operations of the organization's pricing function.

    This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule and one-time home office stipend after initial training period.

    Compensation Information

    The base salary range for this position is:

    Level I: $57,000 - $86,000; bonus at target is 8% of salary.

    Level II: $63,000 - $95,000; bonus at target is 10% of salary.

    Job Requirements

    • Prepare, monitor, and analyze daily Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and Funding processes.
    • Prepare daily rate postings and maintain the organization's pricing model.
    • Calculate and verify amounts for special items such as forward rate locks, options, specialized loan funding structures, and make-whole fees. Communicate requests to other Treasury group members as appropriate.
    • Analyze and make pricing recommendations to Asset-Liability Committee (ALCO) for current loan products and coordinate monthly ALCO rate approvals.
    • Review ALCO pricing requests and present relevant information to obtain required approvals. Communicate ALCO decisions to appropriate staff.
    • Maintain current product profitability models.
    • Advise and assist to ensure that organization profitability objectives are met.
    • Prepare, monitor, and analyze various Treasury reports.
    • Support branch staff by responding to questions with timely and accurate information.
    • Support development and analysis of product offerings as needed.
    • Expand technical knowledge and become proficient with the tools, systems, and concepts used for Treasury functions.
    • Develop and update procedures, business continuity plans, policies, and internal control documentation as appropriate.
    • Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Knowledge and understanding of accounting, economic and finance principles and practices
    • Knowledge of loan products and financial instruments offered b y AgWest or other similar financial institutions
    • Ability to learn and proficiently use Treasury tools, systems, and concepts
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products
    • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
    • Ability to build trust and rapport with individuals of all levels within the organization

    Preferred Requirements

    • Experience with pricing and structuring financial products, including loans, debt, investments and hedging instruments
    • Knowledge of economic and market changes that impact financial instruments
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access
    • Knowledge of loan accounting and origination systems
    • Certifications such as CFA, CTP,CPA, CMA and/or MBA preferred, not required
    • Ability to explain complex concepts to a variety of audience types

Treasury Analysts seem to be robots plugging in numbers to spreadsheets, but the Director of Billing basically is responsible for and involved in all accounting related to revenues – deferring unearned, accruing unbilled, dealing with auditors, analyzing to ensure accuracy, determining appropriate accruals for bad debt, some forecasting of future billing and/or cash flow, etc.
