Treasury Analyst jobs in Roanoke, VA

Position Mission  

• Perform, plan and reconcile all cash inflows and outflows of the company, guarantee an accurate execution of cashflow plan and perform all accounting and clearing activities within the Corporate Treasury function. 

Position Main Responsibilities 

The position will: 

• Plan and schedule the weekly/periodic payment cycles; Make sure the plan is executed and the cycles are properly managed; 
• Assure all payments are executed automatically by processing the files generated by the system to the banks’ interfaces; 
• Post and reconcile the bank account statements in the system, clear payments and receivables and guarantee the weekly and monthly cycles are closed within the target dates; 
• Contact the company banks for clarifications / inquiry responses / solve operational issues; 
• Manage and reconcile the credit card accounts; 
• Manage and reconcile the company’s petty cash; 
• Reconcile periodically the transitory GL accounts and take the respective applicable actions to close them;  
• Reconcile GL accounts; 
• Reconcile the Accounts Payables / Accounts receivables, including the Intercompany transactions – interact with the other group companies in executing the required analysis in an efficient/effective way and provide a solution for every eventual divergency within the closing period; 
• Issue debit / credit notes (spot); Issue invoices (spot);  
• Perform the Corporate Vendors’ bank master data validation procedure and have all vendors’ bank info permanently up to date in the system; 
• Perform spot vendor and customer analysis, overdue / ageing, payment terms, payment proof; Reply to vendors / customers on treasury issues / questions;  
• Analyse the credits’ recoverability from both vendors and customers and take the respective applicable actions to solve them; 
• Generate and manage the periodic cashflow reporting – plan cash inflows and outflows for a period of 12-18 Months and present it to the Top management and HQs; 
• Respond to audit inquiries in a timely manner, by providing accurate / complete information; 
• Support the CFO in the negotiations of lines of credit, loans and other financial products / perform the requested spot analysis;
